Paul lived and worked in Venice Beach in the 1990’s. He painted open-air on the streets in the time when it was still a haven for hippies, surfers and misfits. The body of work created over several years of living there, added with return visits from the East Coast, was exhibited at a successful one man show at The Sandbox Gallery (now closed), on Abbot Kinney Blvd. Many original works from this Venice Beach collection are still available.
